Chris Widener
is a popular speaker and writer as well as the President of Made for
Success and Extraordinary Leaders, two Seattle-based companies that
help individuals and organizations turn their potential into performance,
succeed in every area of their lives and achieve their dreams.
Speaking professionally since 1988, Chris has had the privilege of sharing
the platform with many high-profile people, including U.S. Presidential
candidates, nationally known television news anchors, best-selling authors,
professional athletes and many others. He has spoken on success to groups
at some of America's finest organizations, such as General Electric,
the Harvard Business School, and Cisco Systems. Chris has also spoken
to and worked closely with everyone from the CEO's of billion-dollar-a-year
companies to entry-level managers. Chris' newsletters have subscribers
in over 100 countries around the world, while people at companies like
Texaco, IBM, General Electric, Ford Motor Company, EMC Corp., Citicorp,
Texas Instruments, Merck, Charles Schwab, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft,
Motorola, Boeing, and Chase Manhattan Bank rely on Chris' advice on
how to live more successful lives.
Chris is the author of four books, including his most recent, Live
the Life You Have Always Dreamed Of, as well as seven audio series,
including the 12-cassette Extraordinary Leaders Seminar. He's
also a member of the National Speakers Association and serves on the
board of the Pacific Northwest Chapter. Chris, his wife and their four
children live in a suburb of Seattle.
