Dewitt Jones
World-Class Photojournalist, Film Director, and Creativity Expert

Recognized as a world-class lecturer, a visionary teller-of-tales, and creative genius, Dewitt Jones spent 20 years as a photojournalist with the incomparable National Geographic. In his keynotes, he explores the fundamentals of creativity and explains where they exist in each of us, and how to access them. He helps audiences see the world with new eyes and shows them how to tap into and rediscover their own creative gifts. Dewitt Jones' knowledge of the creative process, his relaxed and genuine style, and his ability to communicate make his presentations truly outstanding.

Creativity is the ability to look at what everyone else has seen - and see something different. He shows audiences how to reinvigorate their lives and see the world with fresh eyes - whether at home, at work, or in the Amazon.

As a movie director, he received two Academy Award nominations before the age of thirty for Climb and John Muir's High Sierra. Turning to advertising, Dewitt Jones rose to the forefront of corporate creative marketing by photographing national advertising campaigns for Dewar's Scotch, Canon, and United Airlines.

His nine books include California!, What The Road Passes By and Canyon Country. Most recently, he collaborated with Stephen R. Covey to write The Nature of Leadership. Dewitt Jones uses his breathtaking photos, and the idea of vision itself, as a launching pad for creativity and self-transformation. He offers audiences practical steps for seeing the world anew, for expanding their potential for joy and for achievement.

He is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College with a BA in Drama and holds a Masters Degree in film making from UCLA.
