Emmy-Winning Comedian and Former Host, Almost Live!

John Keister hosted the award-winning television hit, Almost Live!, which ran for 15 years on Seattle's KING 5 TV, and--now in reruns--is still #1 in its timeslot.

During his many years on Almost Live!, John won 10 local Emmy Awards for his hosting, performing and writing talents. John’s work has appeared on the Seattle NBC and CBS affiliates, and nationally on Comedy Central, HBO and FOX.

A true Northwest icon, John now performs totally live for hundreds of corporate and nonprofit organizations each year, providing thigh-slapping, customized comedic performances as well as Masters of Ceremonies and auctioning services. His clients include Microsoft, Boeing, Washington Bankers Assn., the WA Society of Association Executives, Eddie Bauer, AT&T Wireless and Virginia Mason.

He also teaches the fundamentals of scriptwriting at the Art Institute Seattle and is the former host of KIRO TV's the John Report with Bob.

John is a life-long Washington resident and a graduate of the University of Washington.
